As the nation marks 60 years of independence, it faces a rapidly evolving global landscape. Manufacturing, currently the second-largest contributor to Singapore’s GDP, remains a vital engine of economic growth. To stay on course toward becoming a global hub for advanced manufacturing, Singapore must navigate emerging disruptions—such as artificial intelligence—while balancing technological innovation with human potential to build a resilient and future-ready ecosystem.
Building a Collaborative and Sustainable Manufacturing Ecosystem
A key highlight of the Summit was the launch of the MNC-SME Alliance, a strategic initiative led by SMF to foster deeper collaboration between multinational corporations, local SMEs, and ecosystem partners. This platform aims to drive meaningful partnerships and deliver tangible value across the manufacturing value chain.
